Colleagues,
Due
to a recent serious accident involving a ladder, training for the use of this
equipment has been given a high profile. Even if you are only an occasional user
it is important that you attend the following course. Please let me know if you
attend.

Scott from Sigma Access is holding the above training/refresher
training on
Monday, 2nd and Tuesday, 3rd December at South Kensington. There are vacancies
on the afternoon sessions running from 13.30 - 16.30 hours on Monday in 737, Blackett
Laboratory repeated on Tuesday in 601, Civil Engineering.There is no charge for
this training.
Please
would you encourage all those in your department who use steps and ladders and
who have not attended such training in the past two years to take part. This includes
those who inspect ladders, librarians, stores, catering , workshop, laboratory,
estates and occasional users.
